Description
Like the nest site at Gilman, Emerson and 22nd (#1107), this is atop a high mast light structure in the middle of BNSF tracks. There's an angled / slanted grid-screen visible 'downstairs' that helps distinguish this nest. Also there are many more hanging rope fragments here. 8/15/13: first observation (with a single, nearly-fledged occupant), and realized this nest was not yet registered.

There are 4 platform nests in this stretch of about 2 miles. This one is likely the least noticed, stuck in among the BNSF tracks. The parents have flown in a close pairing more than once - sign of a strong bond? Last seen, the single juvenile looked hale and hearty.
