the osprey pair returned at the end of April/early May to this nest site. they appeared to have mated and laid eggs. weather was unseasonably cold in mid May. pair seemed to have abandoned this nest site at the end of May. in August one adult osprey was seen for a few hours at the nest site. 2nd year that no live young have been born. this nest was moved from its original site in Feb. 2016. old nest site always had live young that fledged

this nest was moved from its original site inside the camp area amongst ATCO trailers to outside the camp area. A new pole was put up and the original nest was moved to the new metal pole site. the osprey returned and occupied the nest, a pair by the end of April. however by the end of May and June 1st, eagles predated on the nest and the osprey left. no young were raised in this nest this year. will have to wait and see if the osprey come back again in 2018 to this nest site
