July 3rd - 2 nestlings July 20 - 2 fledglings ready to fly July 21 - left nest

09/07/2014 by Watcher
June 19 feeding in progress July 27 nest appears empty, at least one chick has been observed. This was a very deep nest and observation was difficulut

05/11/2014 by Watcher
Observed first bird on March 10. Incubation started April 4, there are three eggs in the nest

07/14/2013 by Watcher
chicks return to nest on and off

07/05/2013 by Watcher
Difficult to tell whether one chick has flown since the nest is so deep and there is a lot of boat traffic close by which causes them to hide. Definitely saw one chick at edge of nest today.

In addition to the fish net there is now what looks like a white plastic bag decorating the nest. So far it is hanging at the outside of the nest. Chicks are being fed but I still cannot tell how many for sure. They have not shown themselves on the rim and the nest bowl is very deep.

There are at least two nestlings. This nest also contains sections of blue and red fish net at the upper rim, which makes me very uneasy. I do hope this is not going to create a problem

04/23/2013 by Watcher
This nest is two feet high. It is difficult to see the female incubating the eggs because the nest bowl is so deep
