This nest blew down, I believe in the winter of 2013. It was replaced by Nest #4568 on an osprey platform. Date is approximate....

This nest is doing great. The 3 chicks are surviving and growing and are getting too big to all fit in the nest.

3/21/13 An adult osprey was picked up by Tampa Bay Watch in this location this morning. Rick Gechter took the osprey to Dr. Cianciolo. The osprey has been hit by a car.

These two nest here every year. They started building the nest in late January moving up the tree as the bottom of the nest they used last year was flimsy at best. They worked all thru February and laid eggs the second week in February . Three babies in the nest today . This is the first that I saw the babies stick their heads up in feeding. 3/18/2013
