One was eating close by, but couldn't tell if it belonged to this nest. One osprey had been incubating, but flew off for a while before returning with some material to work on the nest. Green parrots were perched below the nest.
One osprey was lying low, no activity from it and no sign of mate. Since it was so cold today I'm assuming the low-activity rates in all my ospreys was to conserve heat.
Parakeet was seen next to the lower nest on the light. There was also an Osprey spotted on the pole next to the one with the nest- a nest used to be here but is not anymore.
Two nests: one directly on the field lights and one above on the platform. Female Osprey was seen in platform nest. Platform nest was small but in good condition. Female was crouching in nest, and didn't move while we were there. Perhaps she was incubating?
There may be a possible egg laying state happening. While impossible to tell, the female still will clearly not leave the nest, and the male was observed perching himself on the rim of the nest, unwilling or uninteresting in traveling far from the nest.
Nest may be subject to nesting activity, as female was seen inside the nest while the male was perched very close by. Neither seemed willing to leave very far from the area.
Nest is currently occupied, female was seen perched by the edge of the nest while the male perched on the platform directly above. Neither of the pair left the nest during the observation period.
Osprey pair was sighted again near the nest, the male perched on the platform directly above the nest while the female was heard screeching around the area but did not come to land near by the nest. Nest has not grown in size, however it remains very large.
One pair of adult ospreys present in the immediate area, seen perched at another nearby light post. Platform has little nesting material, but the nest below it is very large. One wren was seen flying into the nest. Female did not move, but male flew off shortly after arrival.
Nest is present and is actively maintained. Still two nests on the light pole/platform. Nest on platform is small, nest on light pole underneath is very large. 1 adult osprey present in nest on platform. Unable to determine sex of osprey. Did spot a parakeet in the bottom nest on the light pole.
Osprey nest on the top platform is small and actively maintained. The second nest below the platform on the light pole is very large and looks well maintained. However, 1 adult osprey was present in the nest on the platform. Unable to determine sex of the osprey.
Osprey nest on the top platform is small and actively maintained. Female osprey present in nest, then male osprey flew up. Female was sitting low, male came in looking down- possible incubation?
*Also, a new nest is now below the original on the light pole, medium size, maintained, no ospreys present in that nest.
Both the male and female were observed in the nest. Both are very vocal. The male then flies away, and the female is observed perched on the side of the nest. No signs of incubation.
No osprey spotted- but it is getting harder to say because of the number of nests in the area and the number of ospreys posting up on near posts (however there has never been an osprey observed beside this nest and it appears that the nest is not holding up)

no sign of osprey at first. osprey flew back with a stick to put into nest. both male and female in nest. male flew off when female arrived with stick.
Originally, I had thought that this nest was occupied by an osprey. Yesterday, when I looked at it again, I found that the osprey moved over to the nest that was right next to it. The other nest was much more fortified and looked like it was in better condition. I took a closer look at my nest and saw 3 to 4 parakeets were hanging out at the nest. I don't know if this osprey likes to split its time between two "homes" or if it decided to come over to the other nest and desert the other nest.
All of the other nests that I have been visiting during the day were deserted, so I was really hoping to get at least one bird in one nest. Sure enough there was one osprey in the nest. Couldn't tell if it was a female or male. I also say another osprey in the area so that might have been the mate. I didnt see the osprey incubating or feeding any nestlings/fledglings. The osprey was perched on the nest where you could see its head and its chest. As I said earlier I couldn't tell the gender of the osprey.
